By booking an exam with Exam Centre Manchester, you are bound by the following terms and conditions, so please take a moment to read them before registering with us. We may update this page from time to time, so it's worth checking back occasionally for any changes.
To have your exam booked and confirmed, full payment is required by the relevant due date. If the first deadline has passed, late fees may be added to the original cost before we can process your submission. You can pay through our website or by bank transfer — without payment, Exam Centre Manchester is unable to confirm any booking.
It's the candidate's responsibility to make sure the correct option codes have been provided from the relevant examination board's website. Exam Centre Manchester cannot be held responsible for errors made on the application form, and the tier (Higher or Foundation) must be clearly stated where applicable.
All exam bookings need to be submitted before our first deadline, so that Exam Centre Manchester can issue statements of entry on time. We'll still process submissions received after the deadline, along with the applicable late fees, though there may be a short delay before you receive your statement of entry.
Once your registration has been processed, you'll receive a personalised statement of entry. Please check it carefully for any errors and let our exam officer know within two working days if anything needs changing — after that window, we're unable to make further amendments.
AAT, ACCA and Functional Skills: once an exam has been booked, we're unable to offer cancellations. Exam Centre Manchester reserves the right to charge the full price for a booked exam, and no refund will be given for any cancellation.
IGCSE, GCSE and A-Level: you can withdraw your entry before our first deadline, and your payment will be refunded after a £30 admin fee per exam (for example, GCSE Maths has three exams, so cancelling it before the first deadline would incur a total fee of £90). Any cancellation made after the first deadline is not eligible for a refund.
AAT, ACCA and Functional Skills: to reschedule a booked exam, a £30 rescheduling fee applies, and we'll need at least two working days' notice. We'll send you an updated booking confirmation once the change is made. Please note that ACCA exams can only be rescheduled once.
For IGCSE, GCSE and A-Level exams only, you may request to defer your exam to the next exam series, provided the request is made before our first deadline. Additional costs may apply.
We're unable to make any adjustment for time lost due to late arrival, so please aim to arrive at least 15 minutes before your exam start time. Similarly, no refund is available for absences.
Exam Centre Manchester can put in place adjustments approved by the awarding bodies, so that candidates with disabilities, special educational needs, or medical illnesses or injuries aren't disadvantaged when sitting their assessments. Additional costs may apply, and you may be asked to provide supporting evidence before an arrangement can be approved.
